The famous Kailash Parbat in Mumbai opened a branch for the first time in the Bay Area on Dec 8th, in Dublin. Belonging to the same owners as the Anjappar Chetinad Restaurant chain, Kailash Parbat dishes out Aamchi Mumbai style chats, with Indo-chinese, South Indian and Punjabi entree items thrown in the mix. The place is located in a new strip mall in Dublin, off 580. We visited this establishment in their very first week of opening, and were pretty impressed at how organized they were already. Some of the items on their menu were still unavailable, but I was willing to discount that, being their first week and all.

Overall, I rate this restaurant 3.5 SolaraStars out of 5, and here's why:
👍Service was very friendly, and prompt, which was surprising for a restaurant still in its first week.
👍Ambiance was casual but modern, and the restaurant was spacious and airy.
‼️‼️ProTip:
Arrive early! We went at 7pm on a week night, and there was no wait. Bu 7.45pm, there was a long line outside.
All the food we ordered was delicious but not spicy. I was told that being their first week, they are experimenting with the spice level preference of their customers. If you like spicy food, ask for spicy chutney on the side.
Here’s what we ordered:
💯Chilli Guava drink - REALLY good. The slight spiciness of the drink was perfect for a cold night. Make sure you order this!!
❤️KP Chaat platter - combo of 3 types of chaat. All good, but dahi vada was very cold. The platter is good for 2 people, not 3 as mentioned on the menu.
👍Vada Pav - Decent, but didnt compare to my favorite from Mumbai Chowk in Newark. We had to ask for extra garlic chutney to spice it up.
👍Dabeli - Flavorful and good
💯Bombay grilled sandwich - I thought this was the best amongst all what we ordered. Absolutely loved it.
😋 Gulab jamun - Warm and soft and just perfect.
I will definitely go back in a few weeks, after they settle down and offer more items on their menu.
